If you've been accepted as a co-living member or volunteer we are thrilled to receive you on site.
At time of this writing, we began life on the property 4 months ago and have learned a lot of lessons during that time while attempting to make a healthy and happy place for everyone that visits.
Everyone comes with expectations and also their own baggage, their own sensitivities, their own agendas or goals.
This onboarding course should help build the right expectations so you can integrate suitably into the cultural vibe we aspire to create.
Co-living may mean less emphasis on project areas that volunteers will be focused on, but we do expect all people to contribute towards general day to day order around our shared living spaces.
Although we aim to build a 300 person strong co-living community, we are no where near there yet. As such, schedules can get a bit messy, expectations may not be made crystal clear, people are spread thin supporting multiple responsibilities and projects.
At this stage in our development we simply ask and expect that new people offer to help in various ways where there is opportunity to do so as we move towards the future of comfort and order.
We hope you like and appreciate the transparency and detail provided in this short course. Important background details so you can make a final decision about visiting us, knowing what you're letting yourself in for 🙂
